Is CRAFTSMAN V20 the same as 20V MAX?
Yes. V20 is CRAFTSMAN's name for its 20V MAX battery line, and some listings use both names. Like other "20V MAX" tools, it runs at a nominal 18V under load.
Do CRAFTSMAN V20 batteries fit DEWALT tools?
Not officially. CRAFTSMAN and DEWALT are owned by the same company, but their batteries are designed for their own tools. Plan on staying within one platform.
What is CRAFTSMAN V20 RP?
RP marks CRAFTSMAN's brushless V20 tools, its higher-performance range. They use the same V20 batteries as the standard tools.
Should I buy a bare tool or a kit?
